Aliso Canyon homeowners: Get up to $14,000 in heat pump rebates! See if you qualify.
TECH Clean California is a state program that helps homeowners replace gas appliances with electric heat pumps. This round of funding is set aside for San Fernando Valley neighborhoods affected by the 2015 Aliso Canyon gas leak.
A heat pump heats and cools your home with one system, replacing both your gas furnace and your air conditioner. A heat pump water heater does the same job as a gas tank heater, but uses electricity.
You don’t have to apply for this rebate or wait for a check; we submit the paperwork, and the rebate is applied to your invoice.
This round is open to owners of single-family homes in 39 Aliso Canyon priority ZIP codes, including homes in Porter Ranch, Granada Hills, Northridge, Chatsworth, North Hills, Canoga Park, Reseda, Winnetka, West Hills, Van Nuys, Lake Balboa, Encino, and Sherman Oaks.
Priority ZIP codes:
91303, 91304, 91305, 91306, 91307, 91308, 91309, 91311, 91312, 91313, 91316, 91324, 91325, 91326, 91327, 91328, 91329, 91330, 91335, 91337, 91343, 91344, 91401, 91402, 91403, 91404, 91405, 91406, 91407, 91408, 91409, 91410, 91411, 91412, 91413, 91416, 91423, 91426, 91436
Your ZIP code is the first step. Your home, the equipment, and available funding also have to meet program rules, and we’ll go over all of that with you.
Not in one of these ZIP codes? Reach out anyway. TECH Clean California expects to open funding to the rest of the San Fernando Valley later next year, and we’ll let you know when it does.
The amount depends on the equipment and your household income. Households earning below 80% of the area median income may qualify for the higher amounts. We’ll walk you through which tier applies when we talk; you won’t be asked about income online.

We’ll check which programs apply to your home during your assessment.
